A colourful, imagined landscape inspired by early mornings, ocean glimpses and the quiet ritual of taking a walk with a newborn. Playful botanical forms, unexpected shapes and a warm, sun-filled palette create a landscape that feels somewhere between the familiar and the fantastical.
This was the first painting I made after becoming a mum. It was originally created for my daughter's bedroom and, at the time, I had no intention of selling my paintings.
In those early months, when she was waking very early, I would put her in the pram and walk her up the hill near our home. From the top, we could catch glimpses of the ocean. Looking out at the water became a small way of feeling calm and grounded before the day began.
The view in the painting isn't a particular place. Instead, it is my own colourful interpretation of that feeling. I particularly loved inventing the plants — stretching and reshaping them into forms that don't quite exist in nature, with some looking almost as though they belong beneath the sea.
Limited edition prints
For artworks marked Limited Edition, there will be just 30 prints available in each size.
Each print will come with a Certificate of Authenticity, documenting its edition number and artist signature. Once all 30 prints in a particular size have sold, that size will not be printed again.
Framing & care
Canvas prints can be ordered either unframed or framed.
Unframed canvas prints are carefully rolled and securely packaged in a protective tube for delivery. The canvas will need to be carefully removed from the tube and professionally stretched and framed before hanging. Until framing, keep the canvas in its protective packaging and store it somewhere cool and dry, away from direct sunlight and moisture.
Framed canvas prints are professionally framed in Raw Tasmanian Oak, made to order specifically for your artwork and delivered ready to hang.
Framing is currently available for Australian delivery only.
Paper prints are supplied unframed and can be taken to a professional framer of your choice.
Once framed, avoid placing your artwork somewhere it will receive prolonged direct sunlight.
Shipping & returns
All prints are made to order, so please allow:
- Unframed prints: approximately 2 weeks
- Framed prints: approximately 2–3 weeks
International shipping
Unframed prints can be shipped worldwide.
- Prints up to 90 cm: $70 AUD flat-rate international shipping
- Prints over 90 cm: custom shipping quote required

Once your artwork has been dispatched, you'll receive tracking details so you can follow its journey.
Returns
As each print is made to order specifically for you, I don't accept returns or exchanges for change of mind or incorrect size selection.
If your artwork arrives damaged, faulty or significantly different from what you ordered, please get in touch as soon as possible with photographs of the artwork and packaging, and I'll work with you to find an appropriate solution.
A Note About Colour
My original artworks are professionally scanned using specialist equipment and colour reproduction processes to capture the colours and details as accurately as possible.
Even so, every screen displays colour differently. Your device, screen settings and brightness can affect how colours appear, so the physical print may vary slightly from what you see on screen.
