Coffee Dates
Coffee Dates
Original acrylic painting professionally framed and ready to hang.
120x100cm, framed in Raw Tasmanian Oak.
A celebration of slow mornings, good company and one of life’s simple pleasures — coffee in the sunshine. Coffee Dates brings together the familiar pleasures of Australian life: a roadside café, a tropical pandanus tree, bare feet and flushed cheeks. Bold colour, simplified forms and playful patterns give the scene a relaxed, joyful feel.
If I were to describe my perfect day, it would begin with a slowly drunk coffee in the sunshine with a good friend, followed by a swim in the ocean nearby. I wanted to capture that feeling of having nowhere to be and nothing more important to do than enjoy the moment.
Coffee Dates is a playful celebration of friendship, good coffee and those simple days that end up being some of the best.
