It was originally created for my daughter's bedroom and, at the time, I had no intention of selling my paintings.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eIn those early months, when she was waking very early, I would put her in the pram and walk her up the hill near our home. From the top, we could catch glimpses of the ocean. Looking out at the water became a small way of feeling calm and grounded before the day began.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe view in the painting isn't a particular place. Instead, it is my own colourful interpretation of that feeling.
